Send each message individually and do not do a mass mailing as it makes the message more personal. Be sure to use the name of the individual to whom you are writing in the message.
Assuming that someone replies that they do not have them, you can write back and ask them if they are interested in buying them because you know a way to get them for a certain amount of money. Be sure to ask for the sale at that point and give them the price. If they do not respond to you in a day or so, write to them again and say that you are hanging on to that vintage Led Zeppelin poster for them - do they want it or not? This should bring a response. If they say yes or appear ambiguous, get them to commit by telling them to put the money in your Paypal account and give their address or post office box so you can ship the poster.
Person to person selling is very effective, especially when there has already been a friendly rapport between two individuals. You have already established common ground
between yourself and this other person or else you would not be friends. Because of this friendship and the common ground you have established, the person trusts you as much as he or she can trust anyone on the internet and wants to remain your friend. Chances are that they will buy the poster.
The only trouble with this sort of sales over the internet is the paranoia some people have about giving out their address to other people on the internet. Then, when you have messaged them a few times, you slyly ask them if they are interested in getting their hands on a vintage poster that you have just obtained.
As is the case with any sales, when selling stuff to your friends on Facebook you want to make sure that the potential customer feels that they are getting something special for a special price. People like to feel important, as if you have singled them out in particular for a chance to buy this vintage Led Zeppelin poster because they are such a good friend and a fan of the band. And they love a bargain, as well. “I have seen these for $25 on Ebay but know where I can get you one for $7.” You are not selling posters, you are offering a friend on Facebook the great opportunity to get a vintage Led Zeppelin poster at a discount price. You are doing him or her a favor. Do you see the difference?
To recap, whenever you want to sell stuff to friends on Facebook, you must do the following:
1. Make sure that your friend is the right target market for your product;
2. Ask for the sale;
3. Make your friend feel as though he or she is special to get this offer;

You can sell items online or even seek employment on the Facebook marketplace. The Facebook marketplace offers a myriad of opportunities for many individuals who want to reach out to others for sales and service. Best of all, advertising on the marketplace is free for Facebook users.
While advertising articles for sale on the Facebook marketplace does not violate any terms of service, it is only semi-effective. You have to rely on the customers to go to you instead of you going to the customers. It is a very soft sell approach and is designed to prevent people from using Facebook as a business tool and to keep it as a social networking place.
There is no limit as to how many articles you can post for sale on the Marketplace. Let us again use the poster example. Suppose you have several posters that you want to sell. Some of them are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Instead of posting an ad that simply reads “posters for sale” you are better off to post an ad that specifically in the Marketplace under “Led Zeppelin poster.” Make sure that you use your marketing skills and advertise why your poster is better than the other posters and how you are
offering a special deal for Facebook users.
You can direct them to your online website, if you have one, or to your Facebook page where they can see a photo of the poster that you have on your page. Anything that you are selling online should be pictured on your page somehow, or in your photo gallery so that anyone who is interested in purchasing something from you can easily see a photograph.
In many cases, posting a link to your website is a waste of time. Many people are hesitant about clicking on links from strangers, as they should be.
